Dosing Bunker

A box of product can be emptied into a dosing hopper (using a tipper on a forklift or a fixed tipper). This dosing hopper is equipped with a belt with V-shaped carriers. The belt is supported by ball-bearing rollers to prevent resistance. The common belt widths are 800, 1000, 1200, and 1500 mm. The length goes up to 5000 mm.

The soft-clad side panels are positioned at an angle. This increases the width of the bunker by 800 mm for maximum volume.

The bunker slopes gradually upwards, allowing elevated processing machines to be supplied directly from the bunker. For accurate dosing, the end of the dosing belt is flat and equipped with a vibration mechanism.

For compact products, the bunker can be fitted with a dosing mill to pre-level the product feed. The feed rate is variable and adjustable. A detection sensor ensures even and continuous feeding from the bunker.

The height of the bunker is adjustable. Or it can be placed on a raised platform.
